At the end of the paved road is the Septic Sludge Treatment Plant.
The treatment plant consists of 8 drying beds, each with a capacity of approximately 50 m3.
The purpose of the drying is to get the dry matter content of the sludge from 5% to approximately 50% by draining and drying.
The process cycle is estimated to be 4 weeks:
Week 1: filling 2 drying beds with sludge. It is possible to use 2 beds alternately.
Week 2-3: Drying
Week 4: emptying the drying beds using the track belt front loader, and prepare the drying beds for a new process.
