Embankments and walls
Embankments are constructed from excavated soil from the site.
Top soil is stored in a soil depot and will be used for final cover once the landfill cell is full and properly sealed.
Soil for extending the landfill cell no 1 into phase 2 is also stored at the temporary soil depot.
